中央に床几に腰掛ける結城秀康・右下に土屋左典、左下に永見右金吾が蹲踞している画像で三者とも甲冑に身を固めている。三者の頭上の賛は福井孝顕寺開山愛国洞援のものである。
慶長12年（1607）4月福井初代藩主結城秀康（34才）が薨したので、その家臣土屋左典（33才）永見右金吾（24才）が殉死した。この画像は三者の供養のため死後まもなく描かれたのである。もと孝顕寺に所蔵されていたが明治時代に龍泉寺に移管されたものである。 |
