| Form / Shape | 椅子に坐して法衣を垂下する禅僧像の一般形を示す。内刳りのある桧材の寄木造り、挿首式である。
業海本浄の示寂は、文和元年7月27日であるゆえ、この像は追慕像とみられるが、生けるが如き顔容は或いは寿像ではないかと思われるほどである。 |
