内刳りのある桧材の寄木造り、明治の中頃行われた修理の際体全身にベンガラウルシをかけて尊容を損ねたことが惜しまれる。
明確な記録を欠くが、高倉天皇の承安年間（1171～4）当国の領主の加賀美次郎遠光が如意庵を再建した折まつられたものと推定されている。 |
