深沢城は今川氏が築城したといわれているが最も花やかな時は「深沢城矢文」で知られる北條氏と武田氏との攻防であった。鶴はし城といわれ二鶴様式の城であるといわれている。
宮沢川と抜川にはさまれた自然の地形を利した平山城で近くには六日市など商業地もある。
