この「伊豆七島真景」は青山19歳のとき渡辺崋山の推薦によって羽倉筒堂の伊豆七島辺見に随行。各島の様子を詳細に描いたものである。その内容には神津島、小島、八丈島、八重垣島、三倉（御蔵）島難風、三宅島、科島、式根島、科島陣屋大島三原焼失、波浮島などの図柄１８がある。
史学科としてもきわめて貴重である。筒堂の伊豆巡見は元保９年のことである |
