永村茜山は文政３年江戸に生まれ、文久二年遠州金谷市に没した。旧姓長谷川 金谷市の祖顕永村家に養子となり永村姓となる.
崋山十哲の一人で「後世妙品の域に違するもの男に茜山、女に香玉あるのみ」と崋山に言わせた人である。作品は顕青半番らに比べて非常に少ないがいいものが多い。童子画は茜山得意の領域の一つである。 |
