| Form / Shape | 1曲ごとに、本紙竪121.7cm 幅53.2cmに日吉祭礼の彩画を描いて額張りとした屏風装。半双の向かって左の1曲には、神輿渡御の様子や奉納角力を描く。右の１曲には、僧が桟敷で行列を見ている。行列の中には鎧武者あり。鎧武者の中には、かぶとをかぶった者、折烏冒子の者もいるが、丸坊主のままの者もいる。他の半双の向かって左の1曲には、上部に神輿渡御の図、下部には鎧武者が渡るところを民家の中に坐して見物する人たちを描く。右の1曲には船渡御の図である。
要するに日吉祭礼の各種の場面を描いたものであるが、一種のりっぱな風俗画でもある。 |
