| Form / Shape | 寄木内刳、玉眼を嵌入した彩色像で條帛等には美しい截金を施し、裳、天衣には適宜華麗な文称を描き出している。造像当初の台座はなく、現在は後補の蓮台をもってこれにあてており、当時の獣座は片鱗も残っていない。なお、この像は支那神社の本地堂に祖当する仏堂に安置されたものであろうが仏堂は現存せず、藤原末期の作と考えられる木造十一面観音立像と共に杜宝、として伝えられている。 |
