| Form / Shape | 壮麗な相対せしめた二匹の孔雀文を正面三箇・側面二箇配し、これをくぎるに宝相華を図案化した金具で区分している。孔雀の姿態は勇壮ではあるが、少々硬化典型化し、尾は根端同幅で長く巻き上り、時代性を強く示している。台に当る格狭間は適当円滑に施し、全体美の調和を図っており、これに近似した高野山宝壽院の説明筥の代表的なもので、東大貴族の情趣的耽美的趣味好尚を反映した優麗典雅なものである。 |
