| Form / Shape | 本法寺開山親が文明二年五月十三日付で、下総壕の埴谷平次左衛門尉尉に宛てた書状の写しである。普通、此書状は埴谷抄といわれ、中世以来、宗内で有名である。正本現存せず、本文書は写しであるが室町末期の書写と筆致、墨色、紙質から推定出来、案文として確実性をもつものである。極めて長文のものであり、後世これを現状のように冊子仕立にしている。
なお奥に 等伯画説の筆者、本法寺日通の花押がある。 |
