| Form / Shape | 前半の大部分は弘化2年3月浦賀沖に来たアメリカ船、後半は弘化3年6月30日鎌倉沖にきたデンマーク船の船体、乗組員、船内諸道具を詳細に写生したもの。ペリー来航以前の鎖国時代であるから、外国船に乗りうつって器物を写生するのは容易なことではないはずだ。交渉に行つた幕府役人に従つて船に行つたものが描いたものであろうと考えられる。 |
