| Form / Shape | ねじった金棒をもち岩座の上につつ立つて念怒の形相すさまじい白鬼をあらわす。大胆なノミの使い、いきいきした表現は木喰作の彫刻の特徴をよく示す傑作といつてよい。菊寺にある炎魔大王像が主像が6月2日、あと6月18日が2体、6月19日6月22日の日付をもち、またその他の諸像（十王像）が6月3日、6月8日、6月14日、6月17日、6月20日などの日付であることからすると、1日に1～2体が作られることがわかる。90才の木喰明満仙人が、60才の加勢大工与清を相手に作るさまが想像される。 |
