| Form / Shape | 通肩の衣のうえに袈裟をつけ、結跏跌坐し、右手を胸前にあげ、左手は膝上において薬壷をとった薬師如来像である。おだやかな作風を示しているが、像全体に厚くあと彩色がほどこされており、表面に一枚枝をかぶったような印象をうける。「津島紀事」巻之二に永和二（1376）年の火災を免れた記載があり、それをやゝのぼるころの室町時代中期の京都仏師の制作になる作品と考えられる。 |
