| site_overview | 霞ヶ浦に面する水田中に築造された主軸長約85mの前方後円墳である。昭和30年の探土工事のため墳丘の大半を失った。その際、多くの人物、動物、円筒埴輪が発見され、後円部墳頂下3mから箱式石棺と棺外の副葬品用収納施設を出土した。副葬品には鏡2面、垂飾付耳飾、冠、玉類、大刀、戟、剣、挂甲、短甲、衛角付宵、馬具、鉄鏃、刀子、鉄斧、竹櫛、砥石などがある。西暦5世紀後半～6世紀初頭の築造 |

| current_condition | 摂蝶金具は現存するもの27個分、鉄地金銅張で幅2.5乃至2.6cm。
長さは2.5cmと2.3cmの二種がある。渡金はわずかに痕跡をとどめるに過ぎず、鉄地の銹化も著しい。四隅に笠鋲があり鉄頭で金銅張りをなす。縁に幅0.6cm内外の締金具をそなえるものも見受けられる。他に長さ5.5cm幅2.2cmの長方形の同質の金具が2個分あり周縁に6鋲がうがたれている。鉸具は2個分で普通の鉄製品である。これらの金具の裏面に皮帯の腐蝕したものと見られる残片の付着しているものもあり皮は三重より成ると考えられる。これらは鏡板に連続して二列に並んで発見され、革帯に鋲留された面繋の飾金具であったとみなされる |
