| site_overview | 標高23mの常総台地上、神崎川支谷(行々林支谷）の上限に位置する点列貝塚である。昭和33年3月、市史編纂事業のもとに発掘調査が行われ、貝層下より楕円形プランの竪穴式住居址が検出された。現状は畑である。貝層上土層(安行IIIa,b,c,曽谷、安行I,II各式）、貝層（加曽利B新式)貝層下土層(加曽利BII式）の層序で、住居址内より加曽利BII式注口土器が出土した。貝層はオキアサリ、ヤマトシジミ、ハマグリ等で構成される。 |

| current_condition | 住居址柱穴内より出土した土錘であり、1/3が欠損する。色調は茶褐色を呈し、砂利を混じる胎土で焼成良好。ほぼ球形で中央に径1cmの孔が貫通される。孔の両端の縁には使用時の摩耗痕を認める。外面はヘラ調整で磨き上げる。この使用方法については漁撈用とか装飾用とか考えられるが不詳である。 |
