| site_overview | 現東京湾に近く、標高5mの台上に形成された小貝塚群である。縄文時代の貝塚はA～Eの5カ所で、それぞれ環状に散在している。A貝塚は称名寺式第一群土器の標識貝塚、B貝塚は称名寺式第二群土器の標識貝塚であると共に関東地方で最も多くの漁撈具を出土した。C貝塚は堀之内I式、D貝塚は加曽利B式から大洞A式に至る時期の貝塚である。昭和26・32・41年の3回にわたる調査の結果、後期初頭から晩期に亘る漁具の変遷を知る上に重要な貝塚であることがわかった。 |

| current_condition | B貝塚（寺前町133番地）出土。イノシシの牙製の鈎先とイルカの肋骨で作られた軸が結合せとなっている鈎針。鈎の片刃の切先は鋭利に研磨され。下端には三カ所の切込があり上端には突出部がある。右端は欠損している。軸頂部に索掛の刻目があり、先端の結合溝は薄くなり、先端の一部はわずかに欠損している。 |
