| current_condition | 室谷洞窟の第10層、褐色の砂礫をふくむ下部層から、横転した姿で検出された遺物である。室谷式特有の口辺部に幅1.9cmの段帯をもった黒褐色の甕形を呈し、口唇には刻目状にみられる撚糸の先端圧痕が点々とつけられ、細い段帯には菱形、あるいは三角などの無文帯を残した細い撚糸による平行圧痕文が施されている。また胴部には浅くまばらな軽転手法の小さな縄文痕跡がみられ、厚い炭化物が付着し、底部は隅丸方形の平底土器である。
