| current_condition | 小瀬が沢洞窟からは、94点の打製石斧が摘出されたが、きわめて大形のものや、また小型のものもふくまれ、その整形剥離の打撃技法はすばらしいものがあり、断面が肉の厚い三角形をなし、陵の高いものが主系をなしていた。またその先端部は、ステップ・フレーキングの手法によって巧に刃先を鋭く整いている。
石𣏾は、チャート、硬砂岩、輝緑凝灰岩などが用いられているが、また硬貭の𣏾石の、瑪瑙や、チャートなどもかなり使用している。刃先は丸刃、角刃ともにつくられている。（下段）の左端の石斧は、背面の稜線周辺が、局部的に研磨されている。 |
