| site_overview | 下山新遺跡は、黒部川右岸の隆起扇状台地の末端に所在する。縄文時代中期の遺跡として知られていたが、ほ場整備事業がおこなわれるため、それに先立って昭和47・48年の2回にわたり調査が実施された。遺跡は東西150m南北200mにもわたるが、中期前葉・中葉・後葉、後期初頭が、それぞれ地点をわけており、石組炉を持つ竪穴住居地も発掘されている。 |

| current_condition | 中期後葉（串田新式）の土器である。4地点1号住居址のピット内石組炉から発掘されたものである。色調は淡褐色で、焼成はあまい。上部につく小口の口縁部の半分の欠損と釣手1個が無い以外は、完全である。内面上部には炭化物がしっかりと残っている。 |
