| site_overview | 柴山湯の南西畔、片山津温泉の南1kmの台地上にあり、東西200m、南北450mの範囲に拡がる4世後半から5世紀中葉に亘る玉造集落跡。昭和35年の発掘調査で玉造工房址を設けた竪穴住居跡、6棟を完掘。翌36年開田工事には20戸分を確認している。本玉造集落で作られたものは管玉・鍬形石・車輪石・石釧等である。 |

| current_condition | 東壁長6.32m、西壁長5.76m、南北5.64mの隅円方形プラン、西側壁高43m、東側壁高25cm（自然傾斜による）。主柱穴は4個あなが、他に一群の小ピットも検出されている。中央の炉址は2×1.3m。工作用2重孔は方形の浅い窪みと、その中に掘られたＰ5からなっている方形掘込みは広さ1.0×1.3m、深さ8cm、Ｐ5は上縁径75×62cm、底径40×25cm、深さ142cmである。
昭和36年田を造成のため消滅。 |
