| site_overview | 天竜川支流の小沢川の河岸段丘縁辺に展開する東西600m南北250mの範囲に亘る縄文時代中期および平安時代の集落遺跡である（標高755m）昭和44年3月西天土地改良事業で破壊されたがその際中心部3.2ヘクタールを現状保存し30アールを発掘調査した。発掘調査により発見された遺構は縄文時代中期に処属する竪穴住居址54特殊遺構5平安時代竪穴住居址4計63で多数の遺物が出土し 縄文土器は当地域の標準とされる |

40号47号縄文竪穴住居址を1部切断して構築された方形プランの竪穴住居址で東南隅に石心粘土製のかまどが設けられている柱穴は壁の外側にあったらしく2 3箇が認められた。壁髙は30cmで床面はローム層をわづか掘りこめて低平堅緻に作られている南壁に添って1条の溝が設けられている火災で焼滅した住居址で炭化した建築材植物質の灰焼土が竪穴内に充満しており土師器灰納陶器等優れた遺物を多く出土した。 |
