| site_overview | 遺跡は内湖となって水没していたところで、干拓の結果陸化した際その泥土の下から発見された。縄文時代には琵琶湖岸の入江の砂州状になっていたところに船だまりがあったと思われる。そこにつながれた状態で遺物が出土した。附近に縄文土器片の教布が見られ、この土器片により縄文時代後期のものであると推定された。 |

| current_condition | 化学処理により保存を試みたが結果はうまくいかず、現在ではすっかり軟化し、分解し、ばらばらになっている。復原等も不可能の状態である。
出土時は殆んど完全な形であった。一本の刳舟である。ただ発見の契機が暗渠排水溝の掘る穿によるため、その部分は切断されていた。
出土時すでに一端を欠失し舟側部も欠失が多かった。 |
