| site_overview | 古墳群の中では比較的下の位置標高70mの地点にあった古墳である付近は過去に開墾されていたが昭和34年に宅地造成のために整地した際石組が発見され古墳であることが認められて昭和35年旧枚岡市教委によって調査された玄室は奥壁での幅20cm長さ4.88m羨門での幅2.20mで両袖式で羨道部幅は羨門で1.52m前方の部分で1.42m長さ5.75m、石室の全長10.63mをはかる規模である石室はかなり大きい門縁岩の自然石が用いられ、玄室一面に粘土が敷かれていた玄室の北西寄りに2本の溝が石室の中心軸と平行に検出され墳土中に凝灰岩の石材が破片となって出土したため組合式石棺を埋葬し、玄室の東南部に凝灰岩製の組合式石棺か又遺物から羨道の閉塞の道下に一体、奥に一体が埋葬されていることが相定される。 |
