| site_overview | 懐徳館に所蔵する比江廃寺の古瓦の多くは、昭和17年7月15日堀内和郎氏が比江廃寺址東方の工場の建築現場で採集されたものである。しかしこの鐙瓦はその日の前後の日 当時高知第一高女の学生であった佐藤いずみ氏が偶然現場で採集されたものであった。 |

| current_condition | 周縁高く素縁である。中房大にしてその面はやや隆起、内に17顆の蓮子を入れている。蓮弁8葉にして先端は反転す。また各弁には2枚の小葉を持っている。比江廃寺の鐙瓦ではもっとも端麗なもので、法隆寺系統のものである。保存良好である。 |
