衣紋の切りこみ深く技巧的、絵画的で写実味がある。光背は足利特有の光焔透し彫りである、安政年代に修理している。
本像には脇侍として普賢菩薩像と文珠菩薩像とがついており、それぞれ獅子座と白象座にのっている。両座の出来は脇侍を上まわるほどで傑出している。 |
