| Form / Shape | 舞楽を舞う舞人と楽を奏する楽人とが細かに描かれている。 墨書きであるが、人物の唇や装束の一部には朱が加えられたり、袖が青く色どられているところもある。描かれた舞曲は３２種で舞人は５８人、楽曲は９種で１４人の楽人が登場する。
しかも「嘉暦４年８月１２日」と明記されており、６４２年前のものである。平安朝初期の楽舞をえがいたと思われる「信西古楽図」と比較してみると、明らかにその影響を受けているが、この絵巻巻が林家舞楽の伝来をとく重要な資料であることは云うまでもない。 |
