| Form / Shape | 江戸時代から続く修驗宗、龍蔵院に伝存する山伏の所持法具の一つ。山野を巡行するとき、これを振り鳴らして毒虫などの害を避け、人家を訪う際は、これをゆすって来意を告げた。上部は錫、中部は木、下部は牙または角などを加工したものからなるが、この錫杖は柄を短くしてあり、もっぱり法会に梵唱するとき用いたものである。頭部は塔姿の形にかたどり数個の鐶をかけてあるのが特色である。 |
