| Form / Shape | 京都嵐山の全景と同じく雲畑の中に浮ぶ清水寺を描いたものであり、嵐山の図は墨の濃淡においてよく情趣ある表現をしており、清水寺全景図においても、柔軟にして細潤な筆致は四条派名手の構想をよく表現しているすぐれた作品である。 文挙は安政年間京都に生れ、初め円山派を学び、のち四条派に徹した人である。明治44年59才で没したが、上野の画学校（現芸大前身）の教授であり、山水画を得意とした。 |
