| Form / Shape | 道元禪師が上半身を左向きに上を眺め、寺伝では「顴月の像」と称し月を眺めている姿、禪僧の精神面を表した頂相である。上部の賛に「建長己酉」とあるは建長元年（1249）で画賛は「気宇爽清山老秋観天井皓月浮無寄六不、収任騰粥足、飯足活醗々正、尾正頭上天、建長己酉月圓、日越州吉田郡吉田祥山永平寺開闢沙門希玄自賛」と11行書く、沙門希玄とは道元のことである。 |
