武田二十四將の図は江戸中期以降浮世絵の版行により流行しはじめたといわれるが、多くは領主武田信玄を中心として二十四將の埣を従えた形式である。この絵は信玄を含めて二十四將の図であり、その配列も類型的ではないことなど比較的古いものであろう。絵師は石湖とあるが詳細は不明、筆は一人一人に特徴を表わし華やかな色彩をもつ精巧なものである。とくに中心の信玄の左ななめ上に武田玄蕃入道梅雪を描き信玄に語りかけるような図柄をみせているところなど梅雪の旧領河内地方に残されている二十四將図として興味あるものである。 |
