| Form / Shape | 優美な胴張りと蓋の形、肉（しし）の感じがよく、蓋見返しのくり形の技術がすぐれている。錫の蒔絵に亀甲の中に16弁の菊花を配している。四方入角の胴張りと肉の形態は鎌倉期のもので、亀甲はたて長で平家経の絵と織物に似ており、平安期の手箱の面影を残している。身側に「公方綱吉再興」の墨書銘がある。時代は南北朝と見る向もあるが、鎌倉期と断じたい。 |
