| Form / Shape | 内ぐりなく右手首までと左ひじまで共木で彫り出されている。化仏はすべて後補。肉身漆箔、衣部古色、国指定十一面観音立像の安置された厨子の中前すみに安置されている。一説にもと神崎神社境内の観音堂の本尊であったという。大きな像ではないがよくまとまっており製作年代も10～11世紀初期と考えられ、湖北に多い十一面観音像の中に位置して、湖北の文化圏の性格をよく物語るものである。 |
