| Form / Shape | うすい絵板を三枚合せてベニヤ板のようにして透し彫りし覆輪には金属板をかぶせている。本体は上部に蓮の葉様のものを配した蓮台上の阿字を表わしている。雄こんな味わいをもつ阿字は金沢蓮台などは縁青で彩色された上に精微な切金がみられる。保存のほぼ良好な四枚の他破損断片なども残っている。今も知られている諸所に伝世する華鬘と比しても遜色のない鎌倉時代の作品と思われる。 |
