| Form / Shape | 結跏趺坐し、左手に薬壷、右手は屈臂して施無畏を結ぶ。寄木造、玉眼はいれていない。右肘より先、左手は後補、非常に細かい螺髪、よく整ったおだやかな相好、流麗な衣文等、藤原時代末期の様式をとどめているが、製作年代は鎌倉時代にはいってからのものであろう。当寺は淡路国薬師巡詣第二十三尊の霊場といわれ、岡山安覚寺の薬師を上の薬師といい、この薬師像を下の薬師といったと伝える。 |
